This curriculum guide for teachers, nurse and health educators, physical educators, and youth leaders to introduce students to the topic of playground safety. 

Lessons are geared towards grades kindergarten through 6th and are based on the S.A.F.E.™ Model for Playground Safety: Supervision, Appropriate Developmental Design , Fall Surfacing, and Equipment & Environment Maintenance. 

Each daily lesson plan starts with objectives for the lesson, provides information about needed materials, activities for different grade levels, and suggestions for additional activities. The lessons include background information to prepare teachers.
